After 25 years in the corporate world, I undertook learning to paint in oil with a palette knife. My mentor for 2 years was Francois Arenas. He taught me color theory, composition, value and a new way of looking at the world and never looked back, painting full time now.

My artwork is heavily textured and created with mixed mediums of oil, acrylics, found objects and resin. Commissions inspire new mediums and subject matter. Sharing a passion with the art collector is both inspiring and rewarding.

I live in Texas, venture to Oregon as artist in residence at Hawk Creek Gallery each Spring and spend time traveling internationally. These experiences have directly influenced my work. Different cultures and places influence the energy in my paintings.
